This presentation is for participants who have diabetes or have loved ones who have diabetes. Topics include, how to monitor and control diabetes, knowing your AIC, diabetes complications, and building a support group. The presentation will be changed for the students to address how to help loved ones who have Diabetes Type 2.

Esta presentación es para los participantes que tienen diabetes o seres queridos que tienen diabetes. Los temas incluyen, cómo monitorizar y controlar la diabetes, saber su hemoglobina A1c, las complicaciones de la diabetes y cómo desarrollar un grupo de apoyo. Se cambiará la presentación para los alumnos para hablar sobre cómo ayudar a los seres queridos que tienen Diabetes Tipo 2.

NOTE:  Please inform speaker of any food allergies as taste testing of food items will occur in this workshop.
